And we’re off! Form boards placed, plumbing set, driveway construction underway. We have finally begun construction on our new home!
This lone tree was supposed to be cleared, but because it had a pink tape on it from originally marking the clearing for the homesite, it got left on accident while the trees around it were cleared to make a little more room around the garage. But it isn’t actually in the way of anything and will be nice shade tree to have. “Happy little accident.”
All thanks to Derall Weger, the driveway is now going in over two days. Some additional drainage was cut along the sides of the driveway so we didn’t have to purchase and install any additional culverts. Everything now drains into the existing culverts. Quite a bit more rain water should drain towards the pond now because of the improvements.
